Ford Support Of Rugby Super 12 Competition Kicks Off On Friday
Ford New Zealand, supporter of all New Zealand teams in the Super 12 rugby competition, kicks off its support of the new season this Friday night.
The first games of the 2002 round pit Wellington against Auckland, the Crusaders against the Highlanders and the Chiefs against the Waratahs.
"Ford is a proud supporter of New Zealand rugby, from the Super 12 teams through to the All Black's. The association between Ford and rugby has been steadily growing over the past seven years," said Corporate Sponsorship Manager, Matt Carman.
Ford's support of the New Zealand teams in the competition includes the provision of a new Ford Explorer, decaled in the respective franchise logos.
"The Ford Explorers are certainly very eye-catching. They are the perfect match for all of the teams – powerful, rugged, aggressive, and with a good turn of pace."
Ford New Zealand has been a major team sponsor of the Super 12 ever since its inception seven years ago.
