TVNZ Head of News & Current Affairs, Heaton Dyer, today confirmed details of a flagship new programme, SUNDAY - a primetime current affairs
programme that will commence Sunday evenings in March on TV ONE.
"This is a current affairs programme designed to reflect New Zealanders in the 21st century. SUNDAY is an exciting new
concept originated and developed in New Zealand for New Zealanders," he said.
Hosted by Mike Hosking, SUNDAY will be broadcast live each week, from a state of the art studio offering the show
unlimited potential. It will have a contemporary format that will be flexible and unpredictable. Mike Hosking will also
continue his duties as co-host of BREAKFAST, weekday mornings on TV ONE.
Heaton Dyer explained, "SUNDAY's commitment is to take viewers beyond the news into an hour of original stories from
across New Zealand and around the world."

Executive Producer for SUNDAY, Max Adams, promises a programme that viewers will find has a greater diversity of content
