New Zealand based company, SalesForce, has won a significant contract with Mobil Australia. SalesForce, one of New Zealand’s fastest growing customer interaction centres will now handle Mobil Australia’s telephone account management for its small to medium sized business customers.
SalesForce will provide Mobil Australia with a telephone account management service that operates like an extension of their business. Working in a holistic partnership with companies rather than having a client/supplier relationship is all part of SalesForce’s unique service goal.
Michael Masterson, Managing Director, SalesForce says that after three very successful years working with Mobil New Zealand he is sure his company’s excellent track record is what attracted Mobil Australia. “We have achieved great things for Mobil New Zealand and we are very excited to now have the opportunity to work with Mobil Australia”.
Masterson also says that the support of Trade New Zealand and callnz.com assisted SalesForce in successfully drawing the Australian business across the Tasman. “New Zealand is becoming an attractive place to do business as we offer the ability to do the same job at a better price, while maintaining and often increasing service levels. This is something that other countries like India and the Philippines are not currently offering.”
Mobil’s account management was previously run from Australia. SalesForce has been awarded the contract for small to medium sized business customers, however Mobil Australia will continue to use its own account managers to look after its large clients.
Telephone-based account management is SalesForce’s fastest growing area of business. The company already provides works in this area for Air New Zealand, TelstraSaturn and for Compaq’s small to medium business re-sellers.
Established in New Zealand in 1999, SalesForce operates in four key areas – customer interaction or call centres managing inward and outward bound customer service, sales and marketing; strategic selling or account management to support clients’ direct sales forces; field sales and tactical telephone sales.
The company currently employs more than 150 people working for clients including Fly Buys & Sky TV. The company’s main operations are based in Auckland although it also has offices in Wellington & Christchurch. Established in Australia 11 years ago, SalesForce now employs over 2,500 people throughout Australasia.
SalesForce is part of the DDB Omnicom Group, the world’s largest communications and marketing group.
