CLEAR Unveils New Virtual Store For Ordering Mobile Hardware and Software
CLEAR Communications is the first telecommunications provider to launch a virtual 'clicks and mortar' store for business customers wanting to purchase mobile hardware and software solutions online.
Launched recently, the unique E-commerce website is quick and easy to use due to its ability to process orders on the Internet in real-time.
Other benefits of the system include track and trace functionality and the ability for users to download purchase order details and online GST receipts.
Time consuming billing paperwork is eliminated by using an innovative new 'click-wrap contract' application process that dispenses with the need for a customer signature when making a purchase.
"This tailored wireless solution offers customers savings, simplicity and security when making their transactions," says Mandy Elvin, Systems Development Manager- CLEAR Wireless.
"It's cost effective and there's no need for paperwork or having to deal with a sales representative - you are in control."
Graham Jones, responsible for the mobile telecommunications requirements of Southern Cross Healthcare's 700 employees, believes one of the core benefits of the new online provisioning system is its user friendliness and convenience.
"You don't need to be IT savvy to reap the rewards of CLEAR's mobile solutions store. Orders are made from my desk without the need to chase sales people with emails," Mr Jones says.
CLEAR safeguards all customer information to the highest industry standard by using a comprehensive 128-bit encryption system that protects sensitive data with two layers of authentication before transmitting it across the Internet.
CLEAR developed the system with the long-term view to providing a completely wireless solution for all business customers with telecommunication needs in the future.
"Users can easily understand and use the processes because the whole system was designed by an operational person - as opposed to a technical expert," says Ms Elvin.
CLEAR partnered with Trinity Partnership Ltd to design and implement the mobile provisioning system.
To date, CLEAR has invested almost $1 billion into its rapidly expanding network and will invest a further $150 million this year taking its advanced network and leading e-business solutions across New Zealand.
