Another fuel price drop from BP
BP has dropped petrol and diesel prices by three cents a litre at its company owned service stations with immediate
effect.
The company will lower its wholesale price to its independent retailers (who set their own prices) at midnight tonight.
Prices in the main cities drop to about 95 cents for Unleaded 91 petrol, about 99.9 cents for Unleaded Premium, and
about 66.9 cents for diesel. Areas already enjoying discount prices will not be affected by today’s decrease.
It is the fifth price decrease in six weeks, which has seen 19 cents shaved off the cost of a litre of petrol, and 15
cents off diesel.
BP Managing Director Peter Griffiths said falling international crude oil and fuel product prices have enabled BP to
dramatically lower its prices since the end of September.
