gen-i Appoints New Client Marketing Executive

AUCKLAND, Thursday, 23 August, 2001– Internet Integrator, gen-i has appointed Cornelia Walker as Client Marketing Executive for the company’s Ventures group in Wellington.
She will be responsible for business development in the areas of knowledge and information management, imaging, records management, content services and other Internet-enabled solutions for the company’s blue chip clients.
gen-i Ventures implements, integrates and supports a range of leading e-business, knowledge management and middleware applications from key partners such as Autonomy, FileNET, Hewlett Packard, Intershop, Microsoft and Tower. They also have a strong software development capability centred primarily on Java, JADE and Microsoft.
The group’s clients include Department of Corrections, Fencepost, Air New Zealand Ansett, NZ Dairy Board and Simpson Grierson Law.
Prior to joining, Cornelia was an Account Manager for Maclean Computing, where her primary responsibilities were to develop and design WAN and LAN network solutions, develop new business development strategies and manage key client projects.
She has also been an Account Manager for Express Data, Education Consultant for Com Tech Education and Manager for A C J Enterprises Limited.
Cornelia will report to gen-i’s General Manager for Client Marketing, Ross Hamilton.
