New Director For Property For Industry

Listed industrial property investment company Property For Industry has appointed a new director, Mr Anthony Beverley.
Mr Beverley is head of property in New Zealand for AMP Henderson Global Investors, which is contracted to manage PFI’s nationwide portfolio of 50 properties valued at $217 million.
Mr Beverley has 16 years’ investment experience and has overall responsibility for the property investment business of AMP Henderson Global Investors in New Zealand.
This includes the largest private property fund in New Zealand, the AMP Property Fund with assets of $770 million, and the listed AMP NZ Office Trust with assets of $535 million.
Mr Beverley replaces Mr James Darkins on the PFI board.
Mr Darkins joined the board as AMP’s representative in 1999 when he was head of property in New Zealand. He was later appointed to an Australasian role for AMP and has recently been promoted to head of global property for AMP Henderson Global Investors, which manages more than $360 billion of assets worldwide.
PFI’s three independent directors remain in office. They are chairman Mr Allan Lockie, Dr Gareth Morgan and Mr Humphry Rolleston.
