New Zealand Business Management To Benefit From New Internet Site
New Zealand business management will benefit from CEO Online, a new Internet site.
CEO Online is the Internet arm of the Australia-based CEO Institute and offers a wealth of online executive information services including an electronic chatroom, advice from business experts, as well as the electronic back fence with helpful hints, shares to watch and a listing of useful business websites to access. There is also a fortnightly newsletter emailed to all subscribers.
Although, the CEO Institute is currently investigating opening a New Zealand office, in effect the web site is an international business portal, which provides important information to management, regardless of their geographic location.
CEO Online is ideal for people looking for additional resources and support that they can access from anywhere their business travel may take them, which makes the service particularly appropriate for rural based or executives who have high travel requirements.
The service is a virtual library of relevant, easy to access business information designed to help busy business leaders, owners, managers and advisers keep up to date on a variety of essential business issues.
New information is added either daily, or weekly, and sixteen different categories are available covering such topics as accounting and financial management, business start-up, health, safety and welfare, information technology and e-commerce, sales and marketing, social responsibility and public relations.
Major content suppliers to CEO Online include the Centre for Professional Development - a Thomson company, and the AXA Australia Family Business Research Unit, Monash University, as well as from The CEO Institute itself.
The CEO Institute, which was founded in Australian in 1992 is a peer-to-peer organisation and provides its members with the opportunity to meet other CEOs on a regular basis in an informal, confidential peer group environment.
The CEO Institute currently has more than 550 members in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane.
More information about CEO Online can be obtained on http://www.ceoonline.co.nz/.
