Joint Statement From NGC And Meridian Energy

Meridian Energy and Natural Gas Corporation (NGC) have today announced that they are in negotiation for the purchase by Meridian of the On energy South Island electricity retail business.
Excluded from the discussions are NGC’s Cobb power station , gas sales operation and its customer service centre in Christchurch.
The two companies say they expect the negotiations to be concluded shortly.
