dispute vindicates everything the company has been saying about the issue for the last five months.
In a draft report mediator Walter Grills has found that all four of the key claims made by the New Zealand Waterfront
Workers Union were not supported by the facts.
"This is a dispute that should never have happened. It has cost the New Zealand taxpayer and damaged our reputation as
an exporting country," Mr Liddell said.
We hope that we will now see an end to picketing and that we can all work together to keep growing the country's export
trade."
