ANZ has launched a nationwide customer education campaign with the aim of informing and encouraging its around 1,000,000
customers to get the most from their everyday banking.
ANZ customers will be offered 'Tips on better banking' through the Bank's branch network, and its phone and Internet
services.
ANZ Managing Director, Dr Murray Horn, says the 'Tips on better banking' campaign offers customers practical information
on areas such as lowering the cost of banking, choosing the right accounts and organising day-to-day finances.
"People who organise their banking properly enjoy improved convenience and savings of both time and money," says Dr
Horn.
" 'Tips on better banking' is a further means of encouraging all our customers to take control of their banking and
enjoy the benefits of better banking practices. We are also pointing our customers in the right direction if they want
free and independent budgeting advice."
Free brochures and prominent posters are on display at ANZ's 144 branches nationwide. Callers to 0800 ANZ 2 YOU (0800
269 296) can request a free copy of the brochure and visitors to the Bank's website - www.anz.co.nz - can also access
the information.
ANZ's 'Tips on better banking' follows the launch of the Bank's small business campaign 'Planning for Success'. The
small business campaign includes a free four-part business information and planning kit, exclusive business PC discount
offers, as well as computer equipment and cash bonus offers on certain business loans.
