There was heavy trading on the New Zealand Futures & Options Exchange today involving 5672 futures and 624 options contracts traded with a face value of NZ$3.14 billion.
The Mar-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled up 4 points at 9374 (6.26%). The June-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled
up 2 points at 9413 (5.87%) and the Sept-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled up 6 points at 9429 (5.71%). The Dec-01 90
Day Bank Bill Contract settled up 5 points at 9425 (5.75%).
The Mar-01 Three Year Government Stock Futures Contract settled up 3 points at 9432 (5.68%) and the Mar-01 Ten Year
Government Stock Futures Contract settled up 2 points at 9407 (5.93%).
The March-01 NZSE-10 Share Index Futures Contract settled up 8 points at 938.
The March-01 Electricity Futures Contract closed at $41.00 M/wh.
