MIA And Farmer Support For Employers Federation Appeal
The Meat Industry Association and Federated Farmers strongly support the appeal lodged today by the New Zealand Employers Federation against the Employment Court decision in relation to the validity of strike action by NUPE commencing tomorrow.
The issue of registration of Unions is one of particular significance and Meat Industry Association and Federated Farmers have called on the Employers Federation (of which they are a member) to take an active role in bringing certainty to this point of law.
