There was heavy trading on the New Zealand Futures & Options Exchange today involving 13,494 futures and 1310 options contracts traded with a face value of NZ$7.40 billion.
The Mar-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 8 points at 9366 (6.34%). The June-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 10 points at 9395 (6.05%) and the Sept-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 11 p points at 9405 (5.95%). The Dec-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 10 points at 9406 (5.94%).
The Mar-01 Three Year Government Stock Futures Contract settled down 8 points at 9421 (5.79%) and the Mar-01 Ten Year Government Stock Futures Contract settled unchanged at 9399 (6.01%).
The March-01 NZSE-10 Share Index Futures Contract settled up 24 points at 900.
The February-01 Electricity Futures Contract closed at $30.00 M/wh.
