There was moderate trading on the New Zealand Futures & Options Exchange today involving 3466 futures and 20 options contracts traded with a face value of NZ$1.74 billion.
The Mar-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled up 2 points at 9381 (6.19%). The June-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled up 6 points at 9413 (5.87%) and the Sept-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled up 6 points at 9425 (5.75%). The Dec-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled up 4 points at 9424 (5.76%).
The Mar-01 Three Year Government Stock Futures Contract settled up 4 points at 9438 (5.62%) and the Mar-01 Ten Year Government Stock Futures Contract settled up 7 points at 9401 (5.99%).
The March-01 NZSE-10 Share Index Futures Contract settled up 4 points at 900.
The February-01 Electricity Futures Contract closed at $30.00 M/wh.
