Peace Software Ships New Commodity Management As Part of Energy Version 6
New integrated component designed to improve profitability of energy retailers

today announced the release of integrated Commodity Management as part of its latest Energy™ suite to improve the
profitability of energy procurement in deregulating markets.

Fully integrated within Peace Software’s latest Energy Version 6 suite, the Commodity Management component enables
energy retailers to accurately predict their energy requirements during upcoming periods. Energy retailers can analyse
internal and external data such as customer enrolments, historical customer usage patterns, interval and monthly
billing, and load profiles to produce sophisticated demand forecasts. Based on projected forecasts, energy retailers can
then mitigate their risk of exposure to spot prices.
Once the commodity has been delivered, Energy’s integrated demand settlement capability supports the reconciliation of
transactions between market participants and produces demand forecast and settlement comparisons to improve a retail
energy company’s trading operations.
