Adjust Media Limited is pleased that the Audit Bureau of Circulations has upheld their complaint against incorrect audit figures submitted by New Zealand Retail magazine. New Zealand Retail magazine is the official publication of the Retail Merchant’s Association of New Zealand.
CounterAction magazine is an independently owned titled that was launched in February 2000 by Adjust Media Ltd. CounterAction is a competitive publication to the New Zealand Retail magazine.
CounterAction’s publishers Andre’ Dromgool and Nicky Cassels say, ‘the true circulation figures for New Zealand Retail magazine now provide advertisers with a more honest comparison between the two retail business magazines.’
Potential advertisers base their purchasing decisions in part on the professional integrity of ABC released figures. The figures are crucial to all New Zealand magazine publishers.
There is a significant difference between 70% of the circulation being paid and the true figure of 10%.
The ABC audit attached clearly shows the variance after a re-audit was demanded.
End.
