New Technologically Driven Approach to Client Service
Forty partners of Rudd Watts & Stone, one of New Zealand’s premiere commercial law firms spent last weekend with 200 of their colleagues in the Minter Ellison Legal Group (MELG) at the annual MELG retreat.
With globalisation and the changes evident almost daily in the area of e-commerce, the MELG retreat with its theme of “Legal services required by clients of a top-tier technology driven Law Firm”, provided an extremely relevant, strategic and stimulating focus on the practice of law for the next few years.
Graham Harford, a member of the MELG executive and senior commercial partner at Rudd Watts & Stone, said “ The increasing use and reliance on e-commerce globally means that top-tier firms must position themselves to meet their clients’ expectations and demands in the provision of high- quality seamless service throughout the World.”
The retreat confirmed the technologically driven service approach adopted by Australasia’s largest firm, Rudd Watts & Stone and the Minter Ellison Legal Group with their joint offices throughout Australia, in Auckland, Wellington, Hong Kong, London, Jakarta, New York, Bangkok and shortly, in Singapore and Shanghai.
