Telecom Airnote Mobile Messaging Goes Online

Users of Telecom's AirNote email messaging service can now read and respond to messages online at the AirInfo website.
AirNote's 11,000 customers now receive emails on their mobile phones and pagers but they are limited to 150 characters.
Telecom's AirNote product manager, Janet McNaughtan said that to compliment this service Telecom is offering AirNote customers free mailboxes on the AirInfo website to make it easier for customers to manage their messages. Each mailbox can store two megabytes of email messages and attachments, which should be more than enough for most customers.
"Customers can be notified by AirNote email that a document has been sent.
"In the past, when a customer has deleted a message from their mobile phone or pager it was gone forever. But now with the AirNote mailbox, customers can store and respond to every email message in their own personal mailbox," Ms McNaughtan said.
In addition to the AirNote email message service, Telecom's AirInfo customers can receive an ever-increasing range of information while on the go, including the latest traffic, sport, weather and stock market information and even the latest Lotto results.
It is free for anyone to send an email to an AirNote user's mobile phone or pager, and costs just 20 cents to receive an AirNote email or AirInfo message on their mobile phone or FLEX pager. For those customers using Buzz Me pagers, it costs 34 cents to receive a message.
