Announcement Of Industry New Zealand Board Welcomed By New Zealand Manufacturers
“The announcement today of the Board of Industry New Zealand ends a considerable wait for New Zealand manufacturers keen to see the new organisation make a start”, said Simon Carlaw, Chief Executive of the New Zealand Manufacturers Federation.
“The new Board will set the stage for the new organisation. Naturally, ManFed is delighted that David Moloney’s skills and experience have been recognised. Equally, we are delighted that the Government has ensured that the Board as a whole is well equipped to focus on the challenge of growing and transforming the economy, especially high value export production.”
“We should now be able to look forward to rapid progress on the appointment of quality personnel and to the establishment of a valuable working partnership with Industry New Zealand.”
