AUCKLAND – 15 September 2000 – New Zealand e-Commerce software company, Genie Systems Limited, announced the appointment of Craig Brown to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Mr Brown will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of Genie Systems on a global basis, as the company maximises the success of its award winning flagship product OrderWare. Joining an executive team of seven, Mr Brown will report to CEO and Co-Founder Mike Hendry who is now based at the Genie Systems office in San Francisco. Commenting on the appointment, Mr Hendry said Craig Brown was an experienced financial officer and a strong negotiator. “An expert in complex financial modelling, Craig will be an invaluable part of the Genie Systems team,” he said.
