gen-i Gears For Growth In Government And Commercial Sector With New Business Solutions Manager
AUCKLAND, Friday August 18, 2000 – Internet Integrator gen-i limited (formerly Wang New Zealand) has appointed Rob Schroder as Business Solutions Manager. Working with key national organisations such as MAF, the Department of Corrections and WestpacTrust his focus is on developing and promoting integrated solutions.
Rob has been with gen-i for seven years, most recently as Business Manager for the Outsourcing group. His prior roles include application development, consulting, project delivery and sales.
“Our customers continue to want the basics: service excellence, cost effectiveness, tailored solutions and delivery by an organisation that has proven on-the-ground experience,” says Rob. “We have demonstrated our ability to meet these expectations, particularly in outsourcing and e-business.
“A significant issue gen-i is currently facing is industry globalisation coupled with the need for consistent, universal services. My position entails developing effective technology solutions for New Zealand-based clients who have a worldwide presence. New Zealand is unique in its nature and approach to providing solutions and gen-i aims to deliver that to the world.”
Rob reports to Bob Morton, General Manager for the Southern Region.
