DAIRY FARMERS OF NEW ZEALAND 2000 ANNUAL CONFERENCE 27 & 28 JUNE 2000
BRENTWOOD HOTEL, WELLINGTON
Dairy Farmers of New Zealand will hold its 2000 Annual Conference at the Brentwood Hotel, Wellington, on Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 June.
The conference theme is Trans Tasman Dairy Unity - Our Opportunity.
Reflecting the theme is the DFNZ conference's excellent group of speakers, including the Australian High Commissioner, His Excellency Robert Cotton; CTU President Ross Wilson; Dairy Board Chair Graham Fraser; Max Fehring, President of United Dairy Farmers of Victoria; and CEO of Dairy Meats Paul Rivers.
Kevin Bryant, Acting CEO of the AgITO, and 2000 Sharemilker of the Year winners Mark and Donna Keaney will also be addressing the conference.
His Excellency, Robert Cotton will open the dairy lobby's conference. Graham Fraser and Max Fehring will address the conference's theme directly on Tuesday afternoon.
All media representatives are invited to attend the DFNZ Annual Conference on Tuesday, 27 June. Wednesday 28 June is set aside for delegates to discuss internal policy issues, and will be closed to the media.
