Bank of New Zealand Public Statement in dispute

Published: Mon 19 Jun 2000 09:56 AM
NZ Herald States: BNZ puts record straight.
In Saturday's NZ Herald, is the BNZ making another one of it's arbitrary judgments or what?
The detailed claim of bank errors and the effects of them Mr Eatwell prepared to present to the BNZ has never been viewed by the BNZ management, so how could the BNZ know what is even on the record?
In particular the High Court is yet to adjudicate on this claim.
Is BNZ's, Sarah Hersley saying the BNZ did not overcharge Gray Eatwell's companies from only 3 months after actively wooing his business?
BNZ's practice of overcharging continued even after management had been advised, overcharging that amounted to many thousands $$ and the BNZ actually charged penalty interest on those overcharges.
This organisation has ample evidence supplied by Mr Eatwell and other BNZ customers that clearly show that Sarah Hensley has not put any records straight, but has welded the arbitrary stick of the banks self appointed power once more.
We vigorously dispute the statement that the record is straight, on the Eatwell and several other BNZ customers account.
The Bank Customer Action Collective recommend that the BNZ listen to those outside the square, before making public statements that may well be contradicted in the law courts of our land.
