Top Hotel Group To Unveil New Campaign
At TRENZ 2000
New Zealand’s largest hotel group is launching an assertive new marketing initiative, timed to capitalize on the arrival of hundreds of overseas buyers attending the country’s biggest tourism trade show - TRENZ 2000.
The Millennium, Copthorne and Quality Hotel Group has created a novel promotional campaign, built entirely around next week’s annual inbound tourism trade event in Christchurch.
Michelle Gysberts, Vice President Sales & Marketing says the TRENZ (Tourism Rendezvous New Zealand) event is a highly valued tourism and business forum.
Ms Gysberts says TRENZ is an ideal way to highlight the hotel company’s important role and success in New Zealand tourism.
“With 30 hotels throughout 16 regions of New Zealand, our company has much to offer and much to gain from this valuable event,” she says.
“Our new marketing message is short, sharp and positive – the message is YES!
“This new campaign reflects the company’s unrivalled coverage of hotels, catering for a style, standard and budget to suit every traveller. With this in mind, our message to buyers can only be positive.”
The Millennium, Copthorne and Quality Hotel Group’s YES theme will enjoy a high profile at this year’s show. As well as being a major exhibitor, the company is also providing accommodation for visiting international buyers.
More than 400 overseas buyers are expected at the event.
The YES campaign began with teasers sent to all delegates, inviting them to an exclusive cocktail party at the Millennium Christchurch on Tuesday May 23.
A strong YES theme features on the company’s trade show stand, and will continue through staff and pillow gifts at the company’s five Christchurch hotels.
