Computer Associates Announces New Positions

The new structure announced by Computer Associates for the Fiscal year 2001 recognises the growing awareness of e-Business and allows for continuing growth.
Reflecting the recent acquisitions of Platinum and Sterling the structure will allow CA to incorporate new product sets into existing CA Solutions and service offerings.
The lines of business for Fiscal Year 2001 will be structured in three distinct sales streams, Enterprise Management Services (EMS), Information Management Services (IMS), and Business Partners.
Ross Taylor takes on national responsibility of Sales Manager for the EMS stream. His team will be focused on consulting, developing, and the implementation of enterprise management systems encompassing such areas as infrastructure management, security and audits.
Glenn Simpson moves from the role of Service Manager to National Sales Manager IMS. Wellington based, Glenn will focus on developing our application design and development team with such products as Jasmine, Opal, BPwin, and ERwin. Glenn brings with him 10 years of CA experience.
Terry Shubkin will lead the Channels team. Terry has been with CA for four years and was until recently the Southern Sales Manager, and Cristine Hoyle remains in charge of Marketing.
CA, having completed a successful financial year is now looking to extend that success and as such will make a number of interesting announcements over the next few weeks.
Computer Associates is now the second largest software company in the world . Locally it has the largest enterprise management group with consistent staff growth of 50% over in the last three years.
