The search is on for New Zealand's Importer of the Year from USA. The winner will get two return business class airfares from Auckland to the USA.
The award is one of several recognising success and innovation in US/New Zealand business and launched by the American Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand (AmCham) and United Airlines. They will also give awards to the Exporter of the Year to the USA - Goods; the Exporter of the Year to the USA - Services; and the Exporter of the Year to the USA - New and Innovative.
From these four category winners, judges will pick a Supreme Award Winner, which will receive $5,000 of consultancy services and a year's newspaper subscription.
Any company that has traded goods, or provided services, education, intellectual property, royalties, etc to or from the USA between 1 April 1999 and 31 March 2000 can enter the awards. Entrants do not have to be AmCham members.
