Secure Computing Awards 1999
The fourth annual Secure Computing Millennium Awards are truly global both in their rewarding innovative solution providers from around the world and in the opportunity they provide for people wherever they might live and work to vote for the solutions they think best. Nominations for the Awards opened at the beginning of November. The Reader Trust Awards are decided by reader voting. A simple majority of the votes cast decides the winner. Any member of the public is eligible to vote with the exception of nominees. The Awards Academy is composed of IT professionals in larger organisations. Collectively, these individuals bring a wealth of experience to the SC Awards process and deliver a real-world understanding of the problems facing large organisations. Such individuals are responsible for many thousands of users – they well-understand the consequences of security breaches and also they understand the need for robust and scalable information security solutions.
