Telecom Welcomes Court Decision

Published: Tue 4 Apr 2000 09:02 AM
Telecom today welcomed the decision of the High Court at Auckland to delay an interim injunction hearing until next week.
The court agreed to Telecom’s suggestion that the issues were of such complexity that there needed to be more time to prepare.
A hearing will be held early next week and in the meantime a holding position has been put in place. This involves CallPlus and Attica/i4free having their 0867 access lines reconnected.
Judge Robertson stressed that neither party should make any assumptions about the outcome of the hearing, based on what occurred today.
