Advantage Group Appoints New CFO

Auckland – 27 March 2000 – Advantage Group Limited (NZSE: ADV) today announced it has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Stuart McKenzie as Chief Financial Officer.
The new role will see Mr McKenzie assume responsibility for all finance and administration areas within Advantage. He will also manage the company’s Human Resource and Information System functions.
Prior to joining Advantage Group, Mr McKenzie spent 10 years with Television New Zealand in a number of senior financial management roles, most recently as Chief Financial Officer.
He has also held senior consulting and business development positions in New Zealand and the Middle East. These included a consultancy role with the Bank of New Zealand, where he provided advice to organisations on corporate structuring, valuations, business strategy and planning. Mr McKenzie also spent seven years in the Middle East with construction firm McConnell Dowell Corporation. During this time he was responsible for establishing a number of highly successful ‘green-fields’ operations throughout the region.
Commenting on the appointment, Advantage Group Chief Executive Officer Greg Cross said Mr McKenzie’s experience and knowledge complement the company’s existing growth strategy.
“Stuart is an astute commercial operator and has proven credentials working in technology based industries and capital markets. His background will prove invaluable in supporting the growing interest from institutions and international investors in Advantage Group’s operations.”
Mr McKenzie said he will work with senior management to maximise growth opportunities associated with Advantage Group’s operations in the e-commerce sector.
