INPRISE/BORLAND BOOSTS CROSS-Platform Java Development With Jbuilder
3.5 Leading Java Tool Ships with Support for All Leading Platforms: Linux, Windows and Solaris
Sydney, 15 March 2000 - Inprise (Australia and New Zealand) today announced JBuilder 3.5, a new version of its popular
JavaT development tool.
With JBuilder 3.5, Java developers building Internet and enterprise applications will dramatically shorten their
development cycles. JBuilder 3.5 includes tight integration with, and a free development license for, the Inprise
Application Server, which supports the J2EETM (JavaTM 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition) technology standards, for
developing and deploying e-business applications.
This new version of JBuilder gives developers a wide choice of platforms on which to develop, including Linux, Windows
and Solaris.

JBuilder 3.5 Enterprise is Inprise/Borland's rapid application development tool for creating business, database and
distributed applications based on the Java 2 platform. The product supports development on the Linux, Windows, and
Solaris platforms. JBuilder 3.5 includes strong support for J2EE so programmers can rapidly deliver reliable and
scalable Enterprise Java applications. JBuilder 3.5 provides wizards and visual tools for creating reusable JavaBeans
and Enterprise JavaBeansT technology.
Also included with JBuilder is a Development License for VisiBroker for Java and the Inprise Application Server 4.0,
which supports J2EE technology standards. JBuilder 3.5 provides visual tools and reusable components for rapidly
