CLEAR joins Dick Smith Electronics in retail deal
CLEAR Communications and Dick Smith Electronics today announced a retail alliance which will see CLEAR products on sale at Dick Smith Electronics stores nationwide.
Customers can now connect to the Internet through CLEAR Net by signing up in-store at Dick Smith Electronics – a process which takes just 90 seconds. Other CLEAR products will soon be available.
Dick Smith Electronics Merchandise Manager, Tony Paulsen, says the unique marketing alliance demonstrates Dick Smith’s and CLEAR’s commitment to making getting connected as easy – and as fast – as possible for customers.
CLEAR’s Alternate Channels Manager, Maria Albert, says: “New customers can be signed up and ready to surf the Internet before they even get their new computer home.”
The in-store process allows customers to set up a CLEAR Net account, be assigned a password and email address, and select a pricing plan. New users will take home a CLEAR Net CD-Rom, which also includes Dick Smith Electronics’ full catalogue.
