Healtheries NZ Release
Healtheries of New Zealand hits cyberspace this week with the launch of a high-tech website with product information, a
personal health questionnaire and an interactive diagnostic module. Details of new product launches and “hot topics” for
health and wellbeing are also featured.
The website, www.healtheries.co.nz, gives consumers detailed information on natural health and lifestyle choices.
Consumers are offered personalised dietary supplement recommendations and suggestions to improve their overall health.
Sarah Rainger, Healtheries of New Zealand Sales and Marketing Manager, says the website will provide personalised advice
to help consumers manage their own health and wellbeing.
“Consumers are demanding information from a reputable source to assist in their lifestyle choices. This is particularly
important in the area of dietary supplementation where the category offers diverse products which can be very
confusing,” Mrs Rainger says.
“Our website will give consumers an authoritative source to turn to, whether it be for product information, a personal
assessment or a diagnostic query,” she says.
“Healtheries is absolutely committed to consumer safety and ensures its products contain the highest quality
ingredients, correctly combined in the most efficacious manner. We operate according to the highest international codes
of Good Manufacturing Practice and also have a pharmaceutical manufacturing licence.”
Features of the new website include a personal health questionnaire covering a range of topics, including nutrition and
eating habits, stress, hair, nails and skin, eyes, ears, nose and throat, circulation, muscles and joints, digestion and
female and male specific complaints.
Responses to each question are assessed according to a graded scale and consumers are given recommendations on
appropriate supplements. Over-lapping products are filtered out and cross checks for contra-indications are run.
The website also has an advanced interactive diagnostic module dealing with common health concerns like lower back pain,
headaches and lack of energy. Information is available via an alphabetical listing, or an image of a body where users
click on the body part they are interested in to access a menu with symptoms, causes and recommendations.
A product library and health news – including medical studies, media releases and new product releases, are also on the
website. Marketing collateral and images from Healtheries’ latest advertising campaign, Feel Human, are integrated into
the site.
Healtheries is New Zealand’s leading manufacturer and marketer of health foods, beverages, vitamins and mineral
supplements. It manufacturers more than 600 product lines, holds a 55% share of the New Zealand supplements market and
is rated the number one personal care supermarket brand.
