Americas Cup - The Latest Race Results, Points Etc

STARS & STRIPES WINS OVER YOUNG AMERICA
Team Dennis Conner was back on the race course today, against Young America, after the 48 hour delay necessary to fix the structural damage on Stars & Stripes USA 55, which occurred before the race of 5 December. Stars & Stripes beat his rival by 27 seconds.
The second match of the day was a re-sail of match 11 between Young Australia 2000 and America True who were unable to complete the race course yesterday due to the light and unsteady wind. America True beat the Australians by 1 minute and 45 seconds.
The wind was light and fluky again today, especially in the first part of the race before the sea breeze settled in.
Luna Rossa did not sail on Wednesday.
Thursday the Louis Vuitton Cup (the challenger selection series for the XXX America's Cup) will return to the normal schedule, with the teams sailing match number 6 of Round Robin three. Team Prada will race against the Spanish.
