After a two month lull, Metrowater has been restricting and cutting off customers who are boycotting their wastewater payments.
The past six weeks has seen several new directors appointed to the company and now a new CEO has been installed to replace David Howell who abandoned ship on Oct 1. The new CEO is Graham Coxhead, former head of WEL Energy Ltd in Hamilton.
PROTEST THIS FRIDAY
The Water Pressure Group turn-on squads have been busy reconnecting and our weekly meeting last night resolved to continue the boycott and to further build the campaign to dump Metrowater. A unanimous determination was very evident.
We will be welcoming Mr Coxhead and delivering our message to him this Friday 3 December from 11am to 1pm in a picket outside Metrowater, Cnr Mt Albert and Mt Eden Roads.
