Latest APEC Traffic Information

Scheduled and unscheduled meetings in the city are going to involve a number of motorcade movements that could cause minor disruption to traffic over the next two days.
Police are conscious of the inconvenience this is going to cause to the public and we would ask the public to be aware that there may be minor delays and to have patience.
There may well be changes in the phasing of traffic lights or the use of pointsmen to ease the flow of the motorcades.
The planned road closures are not going to take effect until midnight Friday and there is no thought to bring these forward.
We want to keep the disruptions to a minimum.
Key international issues are being addressed and police have a responsibility for the security of the people involved.
This has come about as a result of these changes in the international political arena .
