Political Parties will today be given some advice on how to win the hearts and minds of Aucklanders.
The message will be released by the Auckland regional Mayoral Forum today.
The forum is made up of the mayors from Rodney, North Shore, Waitakere, Auckland, Manukau, Papakura, Franklin and also the Auckland Regional Council.
The statement is expected to highlight the Auckland region’s problems and points out how central Government can work together with local Government to solve them.
The advice will follow a briefing given to Prime Minister Jenny Shipley on the region’s transport woes in Manukau.
