Teenagers looking for something daring to do this coming school
holidays should check out Manukau On The Move's Teen Extreme
Week.
The week long adventure feast starts Monday, 27 September and
runs through to Friday, 1 October.
Teenagers can take part in a wide range of fun activities including
outdoor rock climbing, mountain biking, sailing and land navigation
as well as kayaking.
Kristi Anderson, Manager Manukau On The Move says the outdoor
adventure week is designed to give teenagers a challenge as well
as learn a variety of new skills.
The teen extreme outing is the second adventure week the group
have organised.
The first was held during the June holiday break and received
an excellent response from young participants. Parents were
also pleased that the initiative gave teenagers in particular,
something different and challenging to do over the break.
Each day runs from 8:30am - 4:00pm. Youngsters can take part
for a day or the entire week.
Anyone wanting more details can phone Manukau On The Move on
