Published: Mon 16 Aug 1999 12:06 AM
The father and husband of those slain in the triple homicide in Manukau City’s Totara Heights last Monday will re-appear in court this morning charged with three counts of murder.
The bodies of Robert Han’s two children and that of his wife were found by his elderly parents at 7:15am last Monday with stab wounds to their neck and bodies and massive injuries to their heads.
Ambulance officers, called to the scene, found the three dead. Robert Han was also found suffering from serious stab wounds to his abdomen. He was admitted to Middlemore Hospital and later underwent surgery.
Police were denied access to Han after his lawyer intervened barring them from asking the injured man questions about the killings.
Robert Han (35) appeared in the Otahuhu District Court on Saturday charged with the killings.
Police spent the weekend continuing forensic tests on the family home.
