Pre-APEC Meeting in Rotorua

Around 700 senior officials from 21 countries have met in Rotorua to decide the debate agenda for September’s APEC leaders’ meeting in Auckland.
The nine day Rotorua meetings will be held at the Rotorua Convention Centre, the Millennium Hotel, Rydges Hotel and the Rotorua District Council Chambers.
Officials will be discussing tariff reductions, the advancement of free trade, and economic and technical co-operation.
