Missing person, Whanganui River

Emergency services are currently responding to reports of a person failing to surface from Whanganui River, near Upokongaro.
Police were alerted around 1.20pm.
Police Search & Rescue, along with Coastguard and a rescue helicopter are working to locate the person.
