Emergency services responded to a report of a vehicle crashing into the Clyde riverbed near Erewhon Station Hut
yesterday morning.
The crash was reported about 10am.
A nine-year-old boy has died following the crash.
Another person received moderate injuries and third person received minor injuries.
The Serious Crash Unit examined the scene.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing and further information will be issued when available.
