One arrest following Mossburn incident

A 44-year-old man has been arrested following an incident in Mossburn today.
Police attended a property in Cornwall Street about 7am after reports of an incident between two occupants.
A man initially refused to leave the address, however, after speaking with Police he voluntarily left the property and was taken into custody.
He has been charged with several offences including possession of an offensive weapon, and is due to appear in the Invercargill District Court on Thursday 30 May.
Police would like to thank the community for their assistance and patience while officers dealt with this incident.
