Incident in Invercargill

Detective Senior Sergeant Stu Harvey:
Police have cordoned off parts of Invercargill this evening after a family harm incident involving a male and a female.
Officers were called to the property on Dee Street, about 7:15pm.
AOS assisted as a precaution, and cordons remain in place around an eight-block area of the inner city
The female reportedly involved in the family harm incident walked out of the property around 9:30pm and is safe and uninjured.
No shots were fired at any time.
Members of the public are advised to respect any Police cordons and follow directions of Police staff at this time.
