"Appeal following Blenheim Road crash"
Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash between a car and a cyclist on Blenheim Road, Christchurch.
On Tuesday 9 April 2019 around 6:40pm a male cyclist was hit by a car while travelling west along Blenheim Road at the Clarence Street intersection.
He was knocked off his bike by a car that was turning right into Clarence Street.
He sustained moderate injuries and was taken to hospital.
Police would like to identify the driver of the car.
She is described as Maori, of slim build, around 150-160cm, and wearing a dark coloured hoodie and pants.
She stayed with the cyclist until Ambulance arrived, but left the scene before Police attended.
