Bus customers encouraged to check before they travel

Published: Fri 17 May 2019 03:19 PM
Wellington off-peak bus customers will face disruptions to their travel on Tuesday 21 May from 9:30am to 3pm as some NZ Bus drivers head to the Tramways Union Annual General Meeting.
Barbara Donaldson, Chair of Greater Wellington Regional Council’s Sustainable Transport Committee, says the AGM will not affect school services but will impact customers using off- peak services.
“We will keep customers updated through our website, app and social media channels, as well as public information in the press and radio”.
Customers can use Metlink’s app or website to check for reduced services, or call our Metlink team on 0800 801 700.
“We regret the impact the AGM has on customers,” adds Cr Donaldson.
