Further arrest made following Grey Lynn serious assault

Attribute to Acting Detective Inspector Glenn Baldwin, Auckland City CIB:
Auckland City Police investigating a serious assault outside a Grey Lynn bar in the early hours of Sunday morning have made a further arrest in the case.
Today, Police have charged a 34-year-old man in relation to assault with a weapon.
He will face this charge in the Auckland District Court at a later date.
This is a result of work by a team of determined investigators that have been on the case since Sunday morning.
Today's arrest follows that of a 23-year-old charged yesterday in connection with the violent incident.
