"Fatal crash, Westport"
One person has died in a car vs motorcycle crash in Westport.
Police were alerted to the crash at the intersection of Brougham St (State Highway 67) and Domett Rd at around 5:50pm.
The motorcyclist died at the scene.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing.
The road is closed and could be for some time.
Diversions will be put in place and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
