Picton aggravated robbery

Police have arrested one person in relation to an aggravated robbery at the Challenge service station on Kent Street, Picton.
The robbery took place around 4:20pm on Thursday, 2 May.
A man entered the shop armed with what is believed to be a firearm and took a quantity of cash before leaving on foot.
Police located and arrested the man overnight.
He is due to appear in the Blenheim District Court this morning charged with aggravated robbery.
