Police are appealing for information after a green kayak and paddle were located floating in the water near Raumati
South, Kapiti Coast.
Police were notified of the floating kayak around 1:40pm and enquiries are currently underway to confirm if anyone was
in the kayak prior to it being located this afternoon.
It is possible the occupant is back on shore safe and well but Police have received conflicting reports about the
kayaker's whereabouts.
Police would like to hear from anyone with information or from the kayaker themselves.
